Predict the tech industry. Earn in-game coins.
Apple keynotes, Meta earnings, antitrust rulings, AI labs cutting prices — call the outcome before it lands and climb the GutCall leaderboard. Coins are fictional and never exchangeable for cash.

What lives in the tech category
Tech challenges cover the public, verifiable beats of the industry — quarterly earnings vs analyst consensus, product launch dates, regulatory decisions, antitrust rulings, App Store policy changes, and platform-level shifts (think iOS versions, browser engine changes, deprecations).
Every challenge spells out its resolution source up front: an SEC filing, an official keynote, a court docket, a regulator's published decision. The platform reads that source and settles the market — no manual judgment, no negotiated outcomes.
Predictions are placed with GutCall coins, an in-game currency that has no cash value and cannot be cashed out, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for prizes. The game rewards skill with bragging rights, badges, and store cosmetics — never with money.

Tech FAQ
Am I betting real money on tech outcomes?
No. GutCall uses fictional in-game coins. They can't be cashed out, traded between accounts, or redeemed for prizes. The product is a free-to-play prediction game, not a betting service.
Where do tech challenges get their resolutions?
From whichever public, verifiable source the challenge points at: SEC filings, official press releases, regulator websites, court dockets, or transcripted keynotes. The source is shown on each challenge card before you stake.
Can I create my own tech challenge?
Paid Creator and Pro plans unlock the authoring suite, including a tech-aware question template with resolution-source presets for SEC EDGAR, antitrust dockets, and the major company press rooms.
What happens if a tech result is ambiguous?
If the published source returns an ambiguous result, the challenge moves to dispute. The creator and the community review the evidence, and the platform either resolves it or voids it with all stakes returned.
Are insider trading laws a concern?
No. Because no real money changes hands and coins have no cash value, predictions on GutCall are entertainment, not securities trading. If you do hold positions in a company, that's between you and your broker — outside of GutCall's scope.
