Cookies Policy

What this covers

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) GutCall uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. For broader privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary

Authentication cookies hold a refresh-token reference so signed-in sessions survive a page reload. A small CSRF token guards against forgery on form submissions. These cookies are required for the product to function and cannot be disabled.

Preference

We persist a small set of preferences in local storage so the experience picks up where you left off: current theme (dark / light / system), preferred locale, and dismissible UI flags (e.g., onboarding tooltips you've already closed).

Analytics

When configured, we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (PostHog) to understand which features are used and where flows break. We honour Do Not Track signals and you can opt out from your account preferences.

Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset preferences. Opting out of analytics is available from the privacy section of your account preferences.
